What each alert means
RLM
Most bets are on one side (60%+), yet the line has moved toward the other side since it opened. Books moving against the public usually means bigger, respected money is on the other side.
Steam
The consensus line jumped (1+ pt spread, 1.5+ pt total) within two hours, with at least 3 books moving together.
Sharp $
A side with a minority of tickets has a much bigger share of the money (20+ points more): fewer, larger bets.
$ split
Moneyline money backs one team while spread money backs the other.
Freeze
70%+ of bets and 60%+ of money on one side for a day or more, yet the line and its price haven't moved from the open. The books are happy taking that side, so the alert names the other one.
Key #
An NFL spread moved onto or through 3 or 7.

Strong alerts (outlined) stack evidence: e.g. RLM of a full point with 70%+ of bets on the other side, or RLM confirmed by money %. Lines also move on injury and weather news, which isn't tracked here. Treat alerts as "look closer", and check the Performance page to see which types have actually beaten the closing line.
